Each area of the state has unique features to consider, in your hunting area selection, such as:
- gentle or steep terrain
- amount of timber or sagebrush
- type of hunting species available
- type of game birds available
- Game numbers- Bull/Cow & Buck/Doe ratios
FWP regulations vary for Districts & Species, more private land or public land hunting, type of
overnight facilities, conducive to: stands, 4X4's, walking, horses, mules, or 4 wheelers?
We will supply resources to help you make these decisions, on the type of hunt you prefer.
Time of the Season to hunt, is also of importance, since that may dictate which area you
hunt, to coincide with the FWP regulations for that district (such as Early Rifle bugling season)
After you have signed on, email us with your choices of: species, hunting transportation, lodging, and price range for guided or unguided facilities.
We will pass on Block Management information, or 10 best outfitters to choose from; as well as other information to make your hunt planing go smoothly, and your stay in Montana fruitful and enjoyable.
